
Ingredients:
- Gram flour – 1cup
- Semolina – 2 tablespoons
- Curd – 1cup
- Green chutney – 2-3 tablespoons
- Water – as required
- Sugar – A pinch
- Turmeric powder – 1teaspoon
- Carom seeds – 1/4 teaspoon
- Oil – 1spoon
- Eno (unflavoured ) – 1 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Add gram flour in a mixing bowl and then add curd to it and mix
- Add water to maintain consistency.
- Add semolina and mix it
- Now add coriander leaves , oil, Turmeric powder,sugar, salt and lemon juice and mix it well
- Keep it covered for 20 min.
- Add water to a pressure cooker or dhokla cooker and cover it for 5 min on low flame.
- Then add eno and mix it
- Grease the dhokla stand and add half of the batter.
- Cook it for 5 min .
- Then spread a layer of Chutney on that and then the remaining batter and cook it on medium flame for 10 min.
- Don’t over cook.
- Take the dhokla out cut it into shapes.
- Now heat oil to a tadka pan add mustard seed and Curry leaves .
- Spread it on dhokla .
Now sandwich dhokla is ready to serve .
